Did you know that LIFE is being PATENTED for commercial gain? Is this ETHICAL?

Good people,

The month of May is here with us and with it torrential rains that have rendered havoc….it never used to be like this…a combination of global warming coupled with poor drainage and “population pressure”…signs of the times…”knowledge increases men run to and fro”…

“Already just three companies, Monsanto, DuPont and Syngenta control more than 50% of the international SEED markets”!

…”why are all these things happening?” I ask myself. As we speak, one of my mentors and colleagues has shared a disturbing FACT, that…”for the first time in human history, this current generation, in USA, will live shorter lives than their parents”…this is, increasingly, manifesting in developing countries, including Kenya:

Do we have any evidence that the “GMO agenda” is more about patents and control of food systems rather than “feeding the world”? Any evidence that organic can feed the world? YES!

Good People,

The month of April is here with us and with it the much awaited rains. And with the rains comes the regeneration of life; green and lush…and much more…all in harmony with nature and not against nature. All freely given…and not for sell!

  • Did you know that, according to the WHO, GMOs are micro-organisms, plant  germplasm, or animal life that contains genetic material from unrelated species inserted into other species to express “novel proteins” or unnatural proteins, that would not have occurred in nature before and whose interactions with nature and human beings are still largely unknown?

  • Did you know that we now have whole States/Counties that are 100% organic? And countries, like Denmark, that are planning to be 10% organic?

Good people,

The month of March is here with us with Easter fast approaching and the end of the first quarter of 2016!

From Organic Consumers Alliance (OCA) and our partners, we continue in our steadfast believe that: “ Your Health is Your First Wealth.”

  • Did you know that South Africa has gained the notoriety of being the first country in the world to allow their staple food, maize, to be genetically modified? Do we want to be next?
  • Genetically modified foods have negative health effects….more and more people are coming down with diseases that were previously thought of as rare or only afflicting older people and certain strata of society: the cancers, for example, are now indiscriminately on the INCREASE…or have you note noticed that pattern?
  • Among the key risk factors that our modern and technologically advanced lifestyle has contributed to is an increase in environmental toxins, which apart from traditional ones, like tobacco smoking, include increased use of agro-chemicals, like glyphosate, which are often used in conjunction with genetically modified crops, ostensibly to increase yield to feed the world!
